STEP TEN
Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

Have there been some times in my recovery when I’ve been wrong and not been aware of it until later? What were they?

What types of periodic inventories or daily spot checks have I tried or plan to try?

How can continuing to use the tools of steps 4 through 9 help me live in the present?

Can this step help maintain good character in my relations with others and with myself?

STEP ELEVEN
Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, as we understood God, praying only for knowledge of God’s will for us and the power to carry that out.

How has my experience of a higher power evolved with my experience of MA and it's steps?

What are the differences between religion and spirituality? How do I explore spirituality with or without religion?

In circumstances where I notice the presence of my Higher Power, what am I feeling? Are there specific prayers, or meditations that evoke this conscious contact for me?

* MA itself has no “official” or “approved” spiritual path, and any member who claims otherwise is, quite simply, wrong.

STEP TWELVE
Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to marijuana addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

What changes in me are a result of my spiritual awakening?

Why was an MA member able to reach me in a way that no one else ever had? How will I express my gratitude?

What are the rewards for carrying the message: that we can stay sober, that we can recover, and that there is hope? What are the different ways in which I’ve been exposed to the message?

Do I practice spiritual principles regardless of how I feel? Which principles are harder to practice, which come more easily?

Breakout Group Recommendations

  1. Choose how to share your time: Discussion can be simply focused on one question at a time. Or, the time can be divided at the start so that each person has about 5 mins.

  2. A timer can help keep everyone on track.

  3. Discussion prompts can be screen shared.

Please remember you can continue into breaktime, or click “Leave Room” to go.
